Update UPN/cn/sAMAccountName on change run

We’re attempting to update the UPN/cn/sAMAccountName with the contents of Employment.UserDefined05, and the format is right as I am seeing it in the debug logs, but when writing to the attribute we’re seeing the following error:

“The attribute could not be updated. Reason: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.”

How do we write back these attributes based off a value in UKG?

Please could you share the expression you are using

The expression you use for user-name, should be something like this…

This will use the value for user-defined field 5 as the user-name in AD.
